Public and non-profit private schools are exempt from sales tax on items purchased for their use and paid for with school funds.

If this a qualified tax-exempt purchase, please contact the Jamestown Settlement main museum shop at 757-253-7308 to help facilitate your transaction.

For educators making multiple tax-exempt purchases, please contact our Teacher Programs team at teacher.programs@jyf.virginia.gov.

For Virginia  Educators, a  Virginia Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate, Form ST-12, is required to verify the exemption status.
